The Art In Flowers
AS AN EVENT STYLIST, I LOVE to create and appreciate the beauty in details. Flowers are one of the million things I find just so fascinating and beautiful. Their details such as its texture, colors & form are so magical.
Today, I am sharing these gorgeous mix of flowers, One of them being Ranunculus, which is my second fav. Beautiful as a whole, but if you look at them closely you can witness another world in their deets.

This Baby Shower was an intimate brunch at NYC Restaurant Papillon Bistro. The space gave us a fabulous area to work with.
My client wanted a non-traditional baby shower decor. She was expecting a Girl and her only restrictions were NO PINK NOR PURPLE (lol) and of course I was for it. We then went with the colors Yellow & Pistachio and made everything bonito. Concentrated on the details that made it all tie together and made my client happy.

A New York City Gal has to be creative at times with space. I converted this Candle Holder Chandelier to a "Christmas Tree." Combining Classic Red for the Holidays with Black and Gold colors.
DIY Ornament. For this one I filled a clear ornament with black crinkle paper and used a glue dot to add a striped bow. Click HERE to see previous DIY ornament ideas.
Cute as can be snowwoman has come out again this December. My fav ornament. "Is my butt too big?" Ha LOVE it!
Use Red & White Twine Roll as a vase for Dried Flowers to keep it festive during the holidays. All details matter :)
Tip: Hydrangea are good flowers to dry. Last Forever.

We are in the Holiday Spirit and started a Digital Advent Calendar and here is our first post on some ideas and DIY.
December is a fabulous Month. The last month of the year with wonderful Holidays to celebrate. We are in the Holiday Spirit and started a Digital Advent Calendar that is exclusively on BONITO'S INSTAGRAM. Everyday of Dec. till the 24th we post a little animated video.
Every week we collect all the previous days/ideas and make them live. Here are Dec. 2-6.

I have to start by confessing, that all we have been doing till yesterday has been indulging on delicious food. Yes, Thanksgiving Left Overs is a huge part of it! Thursday - Monday has been a full celebration and blessing to spend quality time with family.
Here are a few pics of our Family Thanksgiving Dinner Table Setting that has been pending.
Flowers and pumpkins surrounded the table of course. My mom did the beautiful arrangements and I styled, of course.
And last but not least we had YUMMY, HOT APPLE CIDER WITH WHISKEY.

Last Minute Thanksgiving Dinner
Last year's Thanksgiving was spent over a friend's house. So you know we had to style a table setting for Thanksgiving.
Last year's Thanksgiving was spent over a friend's house. So you know we had to style a table setting for Thanksgiving.
We made one quick trip to a few of our favorite stores listed below and came up with a darling table. The smallest details or efforts do matter specially if you put Love to it.
Our decor was based on items she already had in her house, pumpkins, pine cones and leaves. The rest was bought at the dollar section of Target (that we love), Micheal's and Home Goods.
Thanksgiving Last Minute, Quick & Simple Solutions:
Used Mustard Velvet Ribbon (from HomeGoods), which were tied to the utensils.
Dollies (from Micheal's) were used as coasters.
Table cover (clearance sale from Target).
Used artificial leaves to adorn the wine glasses.
Picked up a mix of pretty flowers and arranged them in a way that they stand out on the table.
... And Wala! Thanksgiving Dinner was all dolled up.
Remember, Simplicity can go a long way.

The White Pumpkins, Skull, Feathered Chairs and gold precious decor. The beautiful scenery and yummy flowered/glittered bottom cake pops. I mean it was all too bonito!
